About me
I am currently a Research Scientist at Waymo, working on perception for autonomous driving. I also spent two years and half to gain my PhD degree at UCLA, advised by Dr. Jiaqi Ma and Dr. Bolei Zhou. Before joining UCLA, I was a Senior Deep Learning Engineer at Mercedes-Benz R&D North America and a Computer Vision Engineer at OPPO R&D US.
My research interests are in the intersection of autonomous driving, large language models, diffusion models, and multi-agent intelligence. More specifically, my research interests include:
- Cooperative Perception, which studies how to efficiently fuse visual cues from neighboring intelligent agents to boost the overall perception performance under V2X communication.
- 3D LiDAR object Detection and camera-based bird-eye-view(BEV) map understanding.
- Large Language Models for Robotics.
- Diffusion Models for synthetic data generation for autonomous driving.
